A few years ago, Junior Gomes was searching for the perfect bar cart for his Brisbane home. Not just functional — genuinely beautiful. The kind of piece that stops a guest mid-conversation and earns a compliment before anyone's even poured a drink.

He looked everywhere. Department stores. Furniture chains. Online marketplaces. What he found were the same two things: cheap imports dressed up with aspirational language, or massive furniture retailers that happened to stock a bar cart or two alongside a thousand other products.

And that was exactly the problem.

When a store sells everything — sofas, lamps, rugs, bathroom fittings, outdoor furniture — the bar cart is just another SKU.
